Range Broiler
My oven/broiler broke but the range still works?

My oven (not sure what the technical term is) and broiler broke but the range works fine. Any suggestions on how to fix it? It is app. 6 years old, frigidaire.

Likely to be a switch if it's all in one unit. If either the oven or the broiler were out, but the other worked, we could suggest testing the element. But two elements don't burn out at the same time, and neither is likely to be burned out after only 6 years, unless they were defective or you cook a lot every day. So, switch or a connection between the plug and the elements
