How do I fix my whirlpool gold freezer ice maker?
My ice maker is not making any ice. A dial is stuck, that says do not turn manually. The dial is making a vibrating noise. The dial is white with red lettering. The dial is connected to a dark gray base with the serial number 185W-115V-60-HZ. I have removed the 3 screws, but still unable to take off the base. Any suggestions to get this working again would be great since I do not want to pay for a service fee and parts!
Ice build up is not the problem. Sorry
It's just got an ice build up where it's not supposed to. Defrost the freezer
